Monitor every lending partner on the same measures.

UNBRDN puts every partner's loan book into one portfolio view, so your investment committee compares like with like and sees which partners are sliding while there is still time to act.

The problem

  • Different formats. Each partner sends its own spreadsheet, with its own columns and its own way of counting.

  • Late. Reports arrive weeks after month end, when the chance to act has already passed.

  • Different definitions. One partner's 30 days late is another partner's restructured loan, so the numbers cannot be compared.

What UNBRDN gives you

  • One portfolio view across every lending partner, on the same measures
  • Arrears and provisioning by days past due, using bands you set
  • Investor commitments, capital calls, NAV and LP reporting
  • Impact fields, such as women-owned and youth-owned businesses
  • An audit trail for every grade, change and decision

Case study

A development fund's lending programme

  • 101,000 records reconciled to 83,631 distinct borrowers
  • Every account graded with reasons
  • KES 1.4 billion portfolio monitored

Anonymised at the client's request. Observed across deployments and pilots. Direction, not guarantees.

How a fund starts

Start with a free back-test on one partner's book. We reconcile the records, grade every account with reasons and show you what the partner's own reports missed. Confidential, with an agreement signed before anything is shared.

Questions

How do you get our partners' data?
Partners share loan book exports in Excel, by SFTP or through an API, on a schedule you agree with them. We map each format to the same definitions, so no partner has to change its core system.
Do you replace our partners' systems?
No. UNBRDN reads the data partners already keep and changes nothing in their systems. Each partner keeps its own core banking or loan system.
How is provisioning calculated?
Provisioning uses configurable days-past-due bands and percentages set from your credit manual. We confirm your accounting standard with you before relying on it for reporting.
Do you lend?
No. We never lend. Credit is given by your lending partners, who stay in charge of their own decisions.
